Thank you for visiting the Neighbourhood Watch scheme and user registration system. Registration on this system is the first step in either making contact with Neighbourhood Watch or if you have one, registering your scheme with us.
The Join Us process is painless and totally free, we will verify that the email and address details you give are correct before full access is granted.
Please be aware by registering online you are not starting a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme; you are simply registering your details on our secure database and agreeing to receive information.
Some messages that we send are only relevant to particular groups and communities. Please indicate from the selection below if you are involved with or simply interested in information relevant to any of these groups. This will assist us when targeting messages.
Please note, your Neighbourhood Watch involvement is managed with a dedicated section on the next page. Many more options are available for you to add once you have completed your registration and have logged in.
Click the buttons that relate to you:
These are the schemes on the NHW register around your address:
To view a scheme's coverage, click on the scheme name.
Please note; this application is to register either an existing scheme or to express interest in joining or creating a new scheme.
Local procedures for officially "approving" schemes vary; registration of your scheme here is the first step towards official scheme registration.
Add your scheme name (street/area) here
You can only add a scheme if you are the schemes coordinator or deputy. Ask your schemes coordinator to register the scheme on the system if you do not see it listed above. Please contact NHWN on 0116 229 3118 or NHW Scotland on 01786 463 732 if you need assistance.
A basic scheme shape has been created for you (below). You can log in and edit this later, instructions will be sent to you.
The most cost effective way for us to send alerts is via email so if you have an email address please enter it here, as this will be the default method of communication. If you don’t have an email address enter your telephone number and choose how you would like to be contacted, by either text or voice message.
The use of text or voice messages will be used for certain levels of alerts, for example when there is an urgent message that we need to tell you about.
Please note, in emergencies or to verify your details we may override these settings to contact you.
